Welcome back to the 2024-2025 school year! We’re thrilled to kick off what promises to be an AMAZING year at Emerson!

We’re excited to greet our students and staff on our newly updated campus, complete with air-conditioned classrooms and cutting-edge technology designed to enhance academic success for all.

This year’s school theme is “Emerson Eagles, the Home Team.” We’re embracing the idea of being the "Home Team" at Emerson, with Gant as the "Away Team." To celebrate our Emerson spirit, we’ll be using the phrase, “It’s a Great Day to Be an Eagle” as a warm welcome to our students and families.

To start the year, LBUSD teachers will implement the “Smart Restart” curriculum for the first three weeks. This approach fosters a caring and community-focused atmosphere, easing students back into school with meaningful opportunities for building relationships and culture.

They are trustworthy, ethical, and resilient, equipped to learn, collaborate, and adapt to changing circumstances, and act confidently in the service of justice.” At Emerson, we’re dedicated to creating a safe, supportive learning environment where every student feels a sense of belonging. Our goal is to make learning engaging, challenging, and fun. By fostering positive relationships, setting high expectations, and addressing the diverse needs of our students, we aim to help them excel academically, socially, and emotionally.
